An exquisite antique rectangular sterling silver vinaigrette by British silversmith Thomas Shaw. The case features a raised and chased floral design and opens to a hinged perforated floral screen. Inside are two areas with Birmingham hallmarks including the duty mark, T.S. or Thomas Shaw mark, and the date mark for 1823. Total approximate weight is 0.42 oz or 11.8 grams.
